Who is Don Hunt?

 

 

Professional Student:
Don Hunt went to SUNY Geneseo for undergrad, taught English, got his Masters at the University of New Hampshire, and went on to become a director of an alternative school for five years in NH. He is currently in Albany, NY, working on his doctorate in educational administration and policy studies and hopes to graduate in 2001. Then we keep telling him he'll have to get a real job.

 Fantasy and Fiction:
In addition to the Wordsmythe.com project, Phil Steadman, Steve MacDonald and Don Hunt are writing a fantasy serial together that comes out every two weeks. It is a fantasy tale in the vein of J.R.R. Tolkien meets Stephen King called High Magic (Email us to sign up: info@wordsmythe.com). Don also writes poems and fiction when time allows.

Personal:
He has directed plays and done stage-managing and is very active in church. He's an avid downhill skier, and does a lot of hiking and bicycling. He also started doing fencing (as in swords), for free through the SCA (www.sca.org), but had to put that on hold because of school.
